Art, Culture & Diwali
The Round Rock Diwali Festival Art & Painting Competition is designed to encourage and celebrate kids who have a passion for art or are developing an interest in drawing. Through their artwork, we want to bring children closer to Indian values, legends, and the spirit of Diwali — the triumph of good over evil, the beauty of light, and the joy of community.
This is a submission-based competition — children create their artwork at home and submit it physically before the deadline. Selected works may have the exciting opportunity to be displayed at the city's art gallery.
Three Age Groups
Little Artists
Early explorers — all styles and mediums welcome
Junior Artists
Developing skills and Diwali-inspired creativity

ℹ️ If fewer than 5 submissions are received for any age group, that group may be consolidated with an adjacent category.

Rules & Requirements
- 1Artwork should be related to Diwali — the festival, its legends, values, the triumph of good over evil, light, or celebration.
- 2Preferred size is 1 ft × 1 ft to 3 ft × 3 ft. Artwork can be any size — size is not a factor in judging.
- 3Any medium is accepted — paper, pencil, charcoal, oil color, canvas, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and more.
- 4Physical artwork only. Digital art is not accepted — the submission must be a physical piece.
- 5Prizes are judged on creativity, color composition, and artistic expression. Size is not a determining factor.
- 6Write on the back of the artwork (or attach a label): child's name, age, and your contact number. Do not forget this — unlabeled entries cannot be processed.
- 7By submitting, you agree that RR Diwali Festival reserves the right to keep the artwork for display purposes. Artwork may get damaged during transportation or display — please keep a photo for your records.
